Principal's Message

Greetings Davenport Families,

As we approach the final stretch of the school year, there is much to look forward to. Our third-grade students have one more day of NJSLA-A state testing remaining, and they are doing an amazing job! We are extremely proud of their perseverance, hard work, and dedication throughout the testing process. Thank you to our teachers and our testing coordinator, Ms. Menchaca, for ensuring everything runs smoothly each day and for supporting our students every step of the way. We also thank our families for making sure students are well-rested, present, and ready to do their best.

This week, our teachers and staff enjoyed a full week of celebratory events in honor of Teacher Appreciation Week. We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated staff who continuously support, inspire, and care for our students and families. A special thank you to the WINGS team, Parents Club, and Administrative Team for recognizing and celebrating our staff throughout the week with thoughtful events and appreciation activities.

As we enter a busy field trip season, please be sure to check with your child’s teacher for upcoming dates and times. If you plan to take your child home directly from a trip, remember that proper identification and sign-out with the teacher are required. Kindly notify the teacher in advance so they can plan accordingly.

Thank you for your continued support, and have a wonderful weekend!

STEM Bus Fun!

The first grade students had an exciting opportunity to participate in engaging STEM learning activities this week. All first grade classes visited the STEM bus, collaborated with high school students, and explored a variety of fun, hands-on activities. Thank you to Mrs. Taylor and Ms. Delaney for providing this wonderful learning opportunity for our students.
